On March 23, Jiangsu HRG Edubot Industrial Robot Co.,LTD, an affiliated company of HIT Robot Group (HRG), signed strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing Estun Robot Engineering Co., Ltd on collaboration for industrial robotics education. Zhu Chunhua, Vice General Manager of Estun Automation and Yu Zhenzhong, HRG’s Senior Vice President signed the agreement.

Edubot is the only subsidiary company under HRG that specializes in industrial robot education. The company provides standardized education equipment and systematized education resources for holistic robot education solutions for its partner institutions and schools.

Estun Automation is one of China’s leading makers of key control function and module components in high-end smart equipment market. With its advantages in core components, Estun has made its way into industrial robot industry has become a major player in Chinese robot market. In March 2015, it went public on Shenzhen Stock Exchange and thus became one of public companies with original core technology.
Zhu Chunhua, Vice General Manager of Estun Automation highly praised Edubot’s efforts in industrial robot education, including its supporting equipment and tutorials, and expressed his confidence in their future cooperation. He was echoed by Yu Zhenzhong, HRG’s VP, based on HRG’s experience in industrial robot education and connection with education experts and alumni of the Harbin Institute of Technology.
As planned, members of the two companies will build a team and start to work on the following agenda items: 1. Make robot education standards and develop plans for student quality control and career development; 2. Make educator-and-student-friendly tutorials; 3. Standardize educational equipment and push forward construction robot training and demonstration base; 4. Hold related competitions, with the first Industrial Robot Skill Competition as a start.
